As of 10:00 this morning, nearly 21% of registered voters in Roanoke City had voted. That’s down a little over 8% from 2008. In Roanoke County, nearly 28% of registered voters had voted as of 10:00. That’s down from 33% four years ago.
It’s a different story in Salem, where voter turnout was at 26.5% at 10:00. That’s 6% higher than in 2008.
