Despite airport warnings and on-line information about what – and what cannot – be carried in to a commerical airliner several hundred pounds of prohibited items are still confiscated at Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport every year. Lisa Farbstein is with the Transportation Security Administration. She displayed items confiscated from carry-on bags at the airport today – including martial arts weapons, fireworks, brass knuckles – and a power drill. Most of those items are okay to put in checked luggage. Farbstein spoke with WFIR’s Gene Marrano:
