The Roanoke County School Board has named Fiona Hill as the new principal at Cave Spring Middle School, beginning July 1. Hill is currently the assistant principal at Cave Spring High School.
Susan Brown has been named the new principal at Burlington Elementary School, effective July 1. Brown started working in Roanoke County in 2005 as an assistant principal at Herman L. Horn Elementary School.
Peggy Stovall, current assistant principal at Herman L. Horn, has been named the interim/acting principal at Herman L. Horn for the 2015-16 school year. Stovall began her teaching career in Roanoke County at Herman L. Horn Elementary School in 1980.
The school board has selected Lisa Coleman as the new interim/acting principal at Glenvar Elementary School for the 2015-16 school year. Coleman started working for Roanoke County in 1992.
Aric Palazzola has been named the new assistant principal at William Byrd High School, beginning July 1. Palazzola first joined Roanoke County in 2007 as a technology education teacher.
