Morgan Ventures LLC has withdrawn their application to build a cell phone tower in the Bonsack area of Roanoke County… an attorney for Morgan Ventures has told county they apologize for any confusion caused … AT&T, the cell phone carrier proposed for the tower apparently told Morgan Ventures in November that they no longer had an interest in that site. Lori Foster helped lead the fight in Bonsack opposing the tower. Foster says Bonsack area residents came together to fight the tower … she and others there said all along AT&T service in the area was more than adequate. Foster says Roanoke County needs to develop a long-range plan:
