Freeda Cathcart announced today her candidacy for Roanoke City Council – focusing on providing job opportunities for younger generations and improving public schools. Cathcart wants to build a stronger community by better connecting residents and businesses with all available services. She will seek the Democratic nomination for a city council seat at next month’s fire house primary. Its her second attempt at City Council.
