Efforts are now underway in Virginia and many other states to change how electoral votes will be cast in future presidential elections. Supporters of change want Virginia to assign its electoral votes to the candidate with the highest popular vote nationwide. They say it makes every vote equal. But the plan’s critics say the current system assures that states maintain an important role in the federal system. The story from News/Talk 960’s Evan Jones.
