According to the latest numbers released this morning by the Virginia Department of Health there are 168 new confirmed or probable coronavirus cases, and 2 new hospitalizations being reported in the Roanoke Valley. 52 new cases in Roanoke City, 23 new cases , and 2 new hospitalizations in Roanoke County, 86 new cases in Salem, and 7 new cases in Botetourt County.
