Liberty University is sending a student disaster relief team tomorrow to hard-hit Greenbrier County West Virginia. The LU Send NOW program is one in which qualified students sign up in advance, go through training and be ready for deployment whenever needed. WFIR’s Evan Jones has the story.

Virginia Tech professor and WFIR Political Analyst Bob Denton says yesterday’s Supreme Court decision overturning former Governor Bob McDonnell’s corruption convictions should be welcomed by any and all elected officials. Close to one thousand students in five Roanoke County high schools will receive their diplomas today, and any friends or family members unable to be there in person can watch the big event on line.
