For most, September 11th will be a solemn occasion–marking the tenth anniversary of the terror attacks on this country.  But for those born on that day in 2001, it is also a day to celebrate. Roger and Brenda Barnett, whose grandson was born September 11, organized a first birthday party for those kids in 2002.  They’re now trying to get the word out about a tenth birthday party they’re planning for September 3rd at a park in Salem.  Local children who’ll turn ten on September 11th are invited, along with their families.  The Barnetts would like to hear from those who plan to attend.  They can be reached via e-mail at rbarnett59@verizon.net or by calling 540-389-0629, 540-519-3913 or 540-519-3912.
