McDonnell appeared on Washington radio station WTOP Wednesday morning, where host Mark Segraves quickly asked if the governor would be interested in the Republican V.P. nomination next year.
Efforts are now underway in Virginia and many other states to change how electoral votes will be cast in future presidential elections. Supporters of change want Virginia to assign its electoral votes to the candidate with the highest popular vote nationwide. They say it makes every vote equal.
