Salem Police believe same man held up two pizza delivery drivers; composite sketches released

Salem Police are asking for help in identifying and locating the man they believe is responsible for two holdups of pizza delivery drivers last month. Police say the first robbery occurred the evening of November 5th in the area of 36 Otter Avenue, and a similar holdup occurred in the same area three weeks later at almost the exact same time of night. Police have released two composite sketches of the suspect which they hope will help track him down. On November 5 at approximately 10:25 p.m., Salem Police Officers responded to the area of 36 Otter
Avenue in reference to a robbery. Upon investigation, they determined that a pizza delivery driver had
been robbed by a black male with a light complexion. The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed
amount of cash and was not located during the search.
On November 26 at approximately 10:30 p.m., Salem Police again responded to the same vicinity of
Otter Avenue in reference to a robbery. Upon investigation, they determined that a pizza delivery
driver, from a different company, also had been robbed by a black male matching the same description.
The suspect again ran from the scene, and at this time he has not been identified.
Salem Police Detectives believe the same person committed both robberies and their investigation has
resulted in two composite sketches of the suspect.
