Lockdown: Roanoke County…after nearby armed robbery

Roanoke-CountyDeputy superintendent Allen Journell points out that county schools are basically locked down anyway – security measures now require doors to be locked and visitors have to be buzzed in. After being informed by Roanoke County Police, Journell was the point man when 8 schools in southwest county were locked down for an hour on Tuesday while the search for the bank robber went on.
