Today is a big day for some local craft beer fans – its the first day that Deschutes Brewery products are available at local stores and pubs. Martin’s in downtown Roanoke has plans for a Deschutes event later today. The Oregon-based craft brewer plans to open a production facility in Roanoke by 2021. At Barrel Chest in southwest Roanoke County owner Martin Keck says they are already doing big business. Keck says he’s been getting lots of questions lately about the rollout.
