The Great Copper Caper: An ambitious breaking and entering in Roanoke

Roanoke Police say thieves made off with six-thousand pounds of copper from Ferguson Enterprises on Blue Ridge Drive sometime between March 29th and March 31st – in a truck stolen from Southern Air in Lynchburg. The truck was recovered in North Carolina. Four suspects stopped at a Sheetz in Salem after the heist, so there are security camera pictures of them and a silver SUV getaway car. Call the Roanoke Valley Crime Line at 344-8500 if you recognize the suspects.
