McDonnell declares state of emergency: Apco prepares for storm’s arrival

Governor McDonnell has declared a state of emergency in Virginia in preparation for Hurricane Sandy, which is expected to affect the Commonwealth over the weekend and early next week. The declaration allows the state to position storm response resources in place in advance.  The storm already has has our region’s main power company on standby. Details from WFIR’s Bob Clark.
