Heat-DangerThe first major heat wave of the summer is here and Roanoke Fire EMS has some tips to avoid heat-related health issues. You are encouraged to drink lots of water and wear lightweight light-colored clothing if you have to be outside for long periods of time. Some symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke to look out for are vomiting , nausea, headache and dizziness. More from WFIR’s Starr Anderson.
