General-AssemblyThe House of Delegates has passed legislation to keep the names of all Virginia concealed handgun permit holders secret. Supporters say it’s  matter of protecting citizens’ privacy, but opponents say it goes against government transparency and public disclosure. This follows a New York state newspaper’s recent decision to publish concealed carry permit holders’ home addresses. WFIR’s Evan Jones has the story.
