Salem Police have charged a Roanoke man with hiding in the back of a woman’s car while she used a walk-up ATM, robbing her when she got back in, and forcing her to drive to another ATM in an attempt to get more money. Police say it happened July 15th on the 1400 Block of Apperson, and while they did not identify the bank, there is a Wells Fargo branch with a walk-up ATM on that block. Police arrested 31-year-old James Wesley Moore of Roanoke yesterday.
