Update: Roanoke man wanted in shooting turns himself into police

The hunt is over for a man accused of shooting a woman in Roanoke early Sunday morning. Police say Joseph Via, 38, turned himself into Roanoke Police Warrant Service Unit Officers around 3:00 Tuesday afternoon. The Roanoke man is charged with malicious wounding from a shooting in the 5600 block of Green Ridge Road. Police arrested Via and at last check were holding him in the Roanoke City Jail.
