A new state ethics commission is set to meet for the first time today. Governor McAuliffe created the Commission to Ensure Integrity and Public Confidence in State Government .. in the wake of Former Governor Bob McDonnell’s corruption conviction. The commission is charged with recommending changes to state ethics laws and policies for public officials. It has ten members .. co-chaired by former Congressman Rick Boucher and former Lieutenant Governor Bill Bolling.
