Mill Mountain Zoo’s executive director says the zoo has big plans this year to mark its 60th anniversary.  Ray Correia wasn’t specific, but did say “we miss a certain roar up here.”  Correia says special 60th anniversary events are in the works for the spring and summer.  The zoo opened for the first time on July 4th, 1952.  WFIR’s Timothy Martin reports.
